Chris has been a member of the Outcrop Nunavut team since 2014. He celebrates his personal 20th anniversary of working in Nunavut during the Summit.

Actively involved in client work, he handles a roster of clients that reflects the diversity of Nunavut including; The Quality of Life Secretariat, The Food Security Coalition, City of Iqaluit, and Departments of Health and Economic Development & Transportation, to name a few. He has been involved with the branding and marketing of Destination Nunavut since its inception, including the building and management of all social media platforms.

Before joining Outcrop Nunavut, Chris was the Executive Vice President of First Air, responsible for marketing, communications and all customer service for the airline. Under his tenure, First Air ramped up their marketing campaigns to target more tourism activities for the North including – an extensive tour operator support program. While at First Air, Chris worked directly with many Nunavut based operators, community tourism operators and regional tourism focused organizations on their goals and marketing objectives to identify synergies.

Chris has a secret background as a junior ornithologist and not-no-secret background as a bass player in a punk band in the 1980s and a lifelong passion for music.
